Curriculum Years 10 - 11.
How is the curriculum organised for 14 - 16 year olds?
The curriculum reflects current affairs and local issues, promotes British values and enables students to tackle discrimination.
A broad range of subjects, linked to aspiring engineers and architects, are delivered to individuals of all abilities. You will work on real-life, hands-on industrial projects linked to GCSE and BTEC vocational engineering and art & design technology.
The key GCSE subjects of English, Mathematics and Science are taught in context to the projects, aiding understanding and relevance and giving you the necessary in-depth knowledge needed to proceed successfully onto appropriate Post 16 courses.
Our Industry Partners have helped to design the projects and will continue to get involved in your learning. This could be through giving the initial project brief, sharing their specialist knowledge during the project, or providing evaluative feedback on your work.
